It’s another must win game for Pep Guardiola’s side as look to continue their quest for a fourth consecutive Premier League title. The champions need 4 more wins to create history this season, but Wolves will likely provide a stern test at the Etihad later today.

Gary O’Neil’s side sit 11th in the Premier League table before this weekend’s matches. They have had a good season under O’Neil and will likely not roll over for the champions today. Wolves did beat Manchester City 2-1 at Molineux earlier this season with Pedro Neto, in particular, causing City all sorts of problems throughout that game. Gary O’Neil informed the media during his pre-game press conference that Neto had returned to training after a long injury layoff. If he does start the world champions will have to be wary of the threat posed by the Portuguese international. But Wolves aren’t a one man team. With players like Matheus Cunha and Hwang Hee-Chan in their ranks, they will be determined to get at Pep Guardiola’s side.

For Manchester City, they will enter today’s must win clash with a fully fit squad. With Ederson, Ruben Dias, and Phil Foden all back in training, Pep Guardiola will have a full squad to pick from. Given what’s at stake at this point of the season, it is a bonus for the treble winners to be at full strength. Guardiola will be hoping whoever is selected can do the job required to pick up the victory that will keep City’s title destiny in their hands.
